Detroit pitcher Frank Lary became the first 10 game winner in the AL this season with the Tigers pummeling of the Boston Red Sox today, 13-5. Lary went the distance with a pedestrian performance, but he didn't have to be on top of his game as the Tiger bats continued pounding their AL rivals. Detroit had 16 hits on the day and Earl Torgeson accomplished a rare feat by hitting an inside the park homerun in the 6th inning.
