Ray Boone (.402 BA, 7 HR, 26 RBI), Al Kaline (.314 BA, 7 HR, 29 RBI), and Charlie Maxwell (.342 BA, 3 HR, 20 RBI) are all among the league leaders. Cleveland's Nellie Fox leads the AL with a .448 BA. Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra of the New York Yankees lead the league with 9 HR. Detroit's Frank Lary is the only pitcher in MLB to have 5 Wins and Virgil Trucks has the top ERA at 1.71.
